A Training Day for Woodturning Demonstrators Sponsored by the AWGB

2 students from the Plymouth Club 2 students from the North Cornwall Woodturning Club

A full, interesting and worthwhile day was enjoyed by all; the course being lead by Peter Bradwick assisted by John Aitken and the tea boy was Plymouth Chairman John Montgomery (thanks John a job well done)

Starting at around 08:30 and finishing around 17:00 with instruction on teaching techniques and then each student giving a 5 minute talk on a subject of his own choice (I am sure it was longer than 5 mins.)

A 20 min demonstration was prepared and each participant gave their example with feedback from all those on the course and 1 to 1 with Peter.

Any woodturner wanting to give demos to any form of group would be well advised to attend one of these courses.
